Alaska Fortified Yummy Pastiyema

Ingredients

    Pastillas

      2 cups Alaska Fortified Powdered Milk Drink

      • Alaska Fortified Powdered Milk Drink 750g

      3/4 cup Alaska Condensada

      • Alaska Condensada Sweetened Condensed Creamer 300ml

      1/2 cup White Sugar

      • Ever Savers Refined Sugar 1/2kg

      Yema

        4 pcs Egg Yolk

        • Ever Savers Fresh Eggs Medium 12's

        1 can Alaska Condensada

        • Alaska Condensada Sweetened Condensed Creamer 300ml

        3 tbsp Margarine (melted)

        • Star Margarine 100g

        Directions

        1. Make Pastillas by mixing Alaska Fortified Powdered Milk Drink and Alaska Condensada together. Mix well until well incorporated then set aside.

        2. To make the yema filling, combine egg yolks, Alaska Condensada, and melted margarine in a small pot. Cook over low fire while stirring continuously.

        3. Once yema is thick enough, transfer in clean bowl and let it cool before chilling it for at least 3 hours in the refrigerator.

        4. Once yema is in solid form, roll them into an inch diameter balls and place them on a clean tray.

        5. Flatten a dallop of pastillas and put 1 yema in the middle and close it by pinching the edges.

        6. Roll in sugar and put the Pasti-Yemas in desired containers.
