Classic Leche Flan

Leche Flan is always a must and a crowd pleaser in any Filipino celebration or fiesta but most especially during Christmas. Our take on this classic dessert is tangy, sweet, smooth and creamy everyone will enjoy!

Ingredients

1 can Alaska Classic Sweetened Condensed Filled Milk 377g (290ml)

1 can Alaska Evaporated Milk 360ml

¾ cup white sugar

¼ cup water

8pcs egg yolks, large

2pcs whole eggs, large

1pc Dayap,juiced

1tsp Dayap zest

1tsp Vanilla extract
Directions
In a sauce pan, combined sugar and water then heat until syrup turns into a nice golden amber. Divide among three small laneras and set aside.
In a bowl, mix all remaining ingredients. Strain the mixture to lessen air bubbles for a smoother leche flan.
Divide mixture among the laneras then cover with foil.
Steam on low heat for 20-25 minutes or until almost firm.
Chill overnight or atleast 4 hours set.
